The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Helmet is engineered for high-performance racing, combining advanced materials and aerodynamic design to deliver superior protection and stability. Its outer shell utilizes molding technology with a layered composite construction, featuring a high-density 3K carbon fiber outer layer that provides exceptional strength and efficient energy dissipation. Beneath the outer shell, the multi-layer composite including uni-directional carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers bonded with epoxy resin ensures optimal mechanical performance while maintaining a lightweight profile. This design effectively spreads impact forces over the EPS liner, reducing the risk of injury during crashes. The helmet's inner shell is composed of four multi-density EPS layers, with six strategically positioned densities, engineered to absorb and dissipate impact energy efficiently. The smooth, low-friction surface of the EPS liner minimizes oblique impact forces, allowing the rider's head to move independently within the helmet, which significantly mitigates rotational forces and reduces concussion risk.
