Speedometers, Hour Meters & Cockpit Gauges
Track your mechanical maintenance intervals precisely and log track data using high-accuracy powersports hour meters, digital speedometers, and multi-function cockpit gauges. Off-road competition engines lack conventional odometers, requiring hour tracking to accurately execute oil swaps and top-end engine rebuilds. Browse our line of wireless inductive hour meters, comprehensive GPS-enabled digital dashboards, tachometers, and critical cooling system temperature sensors built to survive extreme weather elements.
How does a basic inductive hour meter connect to and read engine hours on a dirt bike?
An inductive hour meter requires zero direct splicing into your vehicle’s factory wiring harness. It operates using a single pick-up wire that is wrapped tightly 4 to 5 times around the exterior of your spark plug high-tension lead wire. When the engine fires, the meter detects the tiny electrical pulse traveling through the plug wire and begins logging running hours whenever the motor is idling or riding.
Why should an adventure or dual-sport rider consider upgrading to a GPS-enabled multi-function dashboard?
Factory analog speedometers rely on physical front wheel speed cables that can snap easily from brush strikes, and they cannot account for changes in tire diameter. A GPS-enabled digital dashboard provides accurate speed tracking regardless of wheel sizing, logs elevation variations, tracks engine temperature alerts, and features topographic map mapping to help you safely navigate remote trails.
