The S&S Cycle Twin Cam 90-1293 Super Stock cylinder heads are fully assembled with springs and valves, designed to optimize performance for engines ranging from 88 inches to 103 inches, and ideal for larger stroker or big bore builds up to 110 inches. These heads feature large 1.940-inch intake and 1.575-inch exhaust valves, maintaining port velocity for excellent low and midrange response while providing ample airflow for stock and slightly modified engines to reach their full potential. Crafted with high-performance valve springs, they support camshaft lifts up to .650 inches, ensuring compatibility with a variety of cam profiles. The heads can be decked up to 0.060 inches to increase compression ratios, allowing for further tuning for power gains. They are compatible with stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds, streamlining installation and integration into existing setups. Machined for optional compression releases (sold separately), these heads are designed to deliver high port flow for immediate performance benefits and room for future upgrades. Made in the USA, the heads are engineered to withstand high-performance demands and provide reliable operation. Note that if higher TDC lift cams or head deckings are performed, piston valve pockets will require re-machining to prevent contact. The heads do not include rocker arm components, intake manifolds, or gaskets, and should not be used with pistons featuring a pop-up dome. When installing S&S compression releases, use S&S rocker boxes to ensure proper fit and function.
