Designed specifically for 2006 to 2016 Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engines with stock crankcases, the S&S Cycle Super Stock® Cylinder Heads (Part Number 106-3240) deliver enhanced performance for touring bikes and heavy vehicles. These heads come fully assembled with springs and valves, ensuring straightforward installation and reliable operation. They are suitable for engines with stock displacement but are especially effective when paired with larger stroker or big bore setups up to 110 inches, providing increased airflow and power. The combustion chamber geometry offers a slightly higher compression ratio than stock, optimizing power output while maintaining manageable compression levels for everyday riding.
The heads feature large 2.000-inch intake and 1.605-inch exhaust valves, which maintain high port velocity for strong low and midrange response. This design enables the engine to breathe efficiently, supporting performance improvements in larger engines. The inclusion of S&S high-performance valve springs allows installation of camshafts with up to 0.650-inch lift, making these heads versatile for various performance upgrades. They are not compatible with S&S compression releases in late-model twins with Harley Davidson ACR systems already installed, nor with certain models including 2014 to 2016 FLHTK/FLHTKL, FLHTCUTG Twin-Cooled motors, or 2017 touring models. Users must use S&S rocker boxes if employing S&S compression releases, ensuring proper fit and function.
