Upgrade your Twin Cam engine with the S&S Cycle 79 cc Super Stock Cylinder Heads (Part 106-3227). These heads are fully assembled with springs and valves, designed specifically for stock engines from 88 to 103 inches or slightly modified engines up to 110 inches. The moderately sized 1.940-inch intake and 1.575-inch exhaust valves help maintain port velocity in smaller displacement engines, delivering excellent low and midrange response for improved throttle response and drivability. Crafted with performance in mind, these heads feature S&S high-performance valve springs that accommodate camshafts with up to .650-inch lift, enabling more aggressive cam profiles for enhanced power output. The combustion chamber is engineered to provide a higher-than-stock compression ratio while remaining manageable, optimizing power and efficiency without sacrificing reliability. These heads can be decked up to .060 inches to increase compression, though piston valve pockets must be re-machined to ensure proper clearance. Compatibility with stock rocker boxes, exhaust, and intake manifolds makes installation straightforward. Machined for S&S electric or manual compression releases, these heads are made in the USA with high precision, ensuring quality and durability. Please note that they should not be used with any piston featuring a pop-up dome and are incompatible with specific models such as 2014-2016 FLHTK/FLHTKL, FLHTCUTG Twin-Cooled motors, or 2017 touring models. To ensure proper sealing and performance, use the included S&S valve cover gasket kit with stock rocker covers, and S&S rocker boxes if compression releases are installed.
