Once the engine reaches a higher rpm, the centrifugal retraction of the compression release ensures the engine runs normally with full compression, delivering optimal power without sacrificing performance. Ideal for 88", 96", 103", and 106" Touring bikes equipped with slip-on mufflers and stock or mildly modified components, this kit offers significant gains in low-end and midrange torque and is optimized for engines with compression ratios around 9.0:1 to 9.0:9.0:1. The installation includes camshafts, gearcover gasket, bearings, retaining ring, o-ring, thread lock, and instructions, making it a comprehensive upgrade. Crafted in the USA, this bolt-in kit is compatible with stock pushrods, lifters, and springs, except where noted, and does not require extensive engine modifications. It is not recommended for engines with compression ratios of 10.0:1 or higher or for models with OEM compression releases.
