The S&S Cycle Easy Start Camshaft (Part 106-5302) is engineered for optimal performance in Twin Cam engines from 1999 to 2006, excluding the Dyna model of 2006. Designed to facilitate effortless engine starts, this camshaft features a compression release mechanism that reduces initial crank effort by temporarily lowering compression during startup. Once the engine reaches approximately 3000 rpm, the centrifugal mechanism retracts, restoring full compression and enabling the engine to run normally without any loss of power or performance.
