The ARAI Helmets Signet-X Helmet is engineered for riders seeking optimal protection, comfort, and style. Featuring the innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, this helmet ensures secure closure and effortless operation, even with gloves. The VAS system lowers the pivot point by approximately 24 mm, resulting in a smoother shell surface around the temple area, which helps reduce impact energy transfer during a collision. The larger latch design not only enhances durability but also provides intuitive handling for quick shield adjustments. The shield itself is compatible with the VAS-Max Vision (MV) lens and includes a Pinlock® 120 insert for fog-free visibility in various weather conditions, making it ideal for long-distance or all-season riding. The helmet’s shell employs Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), which combines multiple advanced materials and techniques to deliver superior strength, lightweight comfort, and affordability. This construction enhances overall durability and impact absorption while maintaining a sleek profile. The Signet-X features a long oval shape, created by increasing the front-to-back space of the EPS liner and decreasing side-to-side room, catering specifically to riders with narrow heads and pronounced foreheads. The helmet's design emphasizes a snug, comfortable fit that reduces wind noise and enhances stability at high speeds. The ventilation system includes QVF three-position intake ducts and QVR exhaust ducts, providing excellent airflow management. Even with the front shutter closed, a side exhaust vent ensures continuous airflow, helping to regulate temperature and prevent fogging. The water-repellent, removable EPS chin cover improves the helmet's egg-shaped aesthetic while increasing mouth area exhaust for better airflow management.
