The ARAI HELMETS Signet-X Robotik Helmet in blue offers a specialized fit for riders with a narrow head and pronounced forehead, featuring an elongated oval shape that enhances comfort and safety. Its design incorporates a Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, which improves the shell's shape by lowering the pivot point, resulting in a smoother surface around the temple area that better absorbs impact energy. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings during rides, while the larger latch provides intuitive, seamless operation and includes a de-mist function for clear visibility in various weather conditions.
Constructed with the Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, this helmet combines multiple materials and advanced techniques to deliver both high performance and affordability. The shell's innovative design enhances durability and impact resistance, ensuring reliable protection for riders. The helmet is equipped with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, offering excellent airflow management. Even with the front shutter closed, a side vent functions as an exhaust, maintaining optimal temperature levels and rider comfort.
The helmet features FCS® cheek pads with contoured shapes and multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” which cradle the face, block wind noise, and improve fit. The water-repellent, removable ES chin cover provides additional protection and enhances the helmet's egg-shaped profile, promoting better exhaust from the mouth area. The odor-resistant liner material resists bacteria build-up, keeping the helmet fresher for longer periods. The VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield accepts the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, with a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ lens included, ensuring fog-free, clear vision during rides.
