The ARAI HELMETS Signet-X Helmet in Fluorescent Yellow is engineered for riders with a narrow head and a more pronounced forehead, offering a tailored fit through its long oval shape. Its design features an increased front-to-back space in the EPS liner and reduced side-to-side width, enhancing comfort and stability during rides. The helmet's shell utilizes Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), which combines multiple advanced materials to deliver both durability and affordability. This construction enhances impact absorption and provides a high-performance protective shell suitable for a variety of riding conditions. The Signet-X includes the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, which not only improves the shape of the shell but also allows for seamless shield operation with an intuitive latch that securely holds the shield closed. The VAS system lowers the shield's pivot point by an average of 24 mm, smoothing the surface around the temple area to better reduce impact energy transfer and improve overall safety. Equipped with the VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield and compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, the helmet offers a clear, wide field of view. The Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ insert further enhances fog resistance, ensuring optimal visibility in diverse conditions. Airflow is optimized with the QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, which maintain excellent ventilation even with the front shutter closed, thanks to a side vent that functions as an additional exhaust. The helmet features FCS® cheek pads, contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring” to cradle the face, block wind noise, and enhance comfort. A water-repellent, removable ES chin cover adds to the helmet's egg-shaped design, improving exhaust from the mouth area and providing additional protection from the elements. The interior lining is odor-resistant, resisting bacteria buildup to keep the helmet fresher for longer.
