The ARAI HELMETS Signet-X Helmet offers a tailored fit for riders with a narrow head and a pronounced forehead, featuring a long oval shape created by optimized EPS liner spacing. This design enhances comfort and safety during rides by better conforming to the rider's head shape. The helmet incorporates the innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, which improves the shell's shape and provides a secure, intuitive shield operation. The VAS latch ensures the shield stays firmly closed, reducing the risk of accidental openings, while the larger latch improves ease of use, even with gloves on. Additionally, the VAS shield system lowers the pivot point by approximately 24 mm, resulting in a smoother shell surface in the temple area that effectively reduces impact energy transfer, enhancing overall safety.
The Signet-X features the Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, which combines multiple materials and construction techniques to deliver a lightweight yet durable shell that balances performance and affordability. For optimal ventilation, the helmet is equipped with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, ensuring excellent airflow during rides. Even with the front shutter closed, the side vent continues to serve as an exhaust, maintaining consistent airflow to keep the rider cool. The FCS® Cheek Pads are contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring,” cradling the face comfortably while effectively blocking wind noise for a quieter riding experience.
Designed for convenience and freshness, the helmet includes a water-repellent, removable ES chin cover, which enhances the helmet’s aerodynamic egg shape and increases exhaust from the mouth area. The odor-resistant liner material resists bacterial buildup, maintaining a fresher helmet environment over time. The helmet comes equipped with the VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield, compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, which is included for fog prevention and enhanced visibility.
