The S&S Cycle 106-5225 camshaft kit is engineered for effortless engine starting and optimized performance on Twin Cam models from 2007 to 2017 and Dyna models from 2006. This kit features a precision gear drive camshaft designed to reduce initial crank compression, enabling easier starts without sacrificing overall engine performance. Once the engine reaches higher RPMs, the centrifugal compression release lobe retracts seamlessly, allowing the engine to run with full compression and deliver maximum horsepower and torque. This design ensures smooth operation across a wide RPM range, specifically from 3,000 to 6,000 RPM for 88-103 CID engines and from 2,200 to 5,000 RPM for larger 106-124 CID engines, providing substantial power gains during high-speed riding.
