The Fly Racing Formula CC Glide Helmet in Purple, Stone, and Black offers advanced protection and lightweight comfort for motorcycle enthusiasts. Crafted with a tri-weave composite shell composed of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, this helmet delivers superior impact resistance while maintaining a lightweight profile, reducing fatigue during extended rides. Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON are strategically positioned to maximize absorption of both linear and rotational impacts at low and high speeds, effectively reducing transmitted forces to the rider’s brain. The Conehead® Dual-density EPS technology features a softer liner with cone-shaped structures that help manage or absorb impact forces more efficiently, enhancing overall safety.
Designed for optimal energy dissipation, the helmet features six critical zones fine-tuned to respond progressively to impacts of varying speeds. Its expanded volume EPS provides additional impact-absorbing material in key areas, creating more suspension between the rider’s head and the ground. The expanded polypropylene (EPP) chin bar adds an extra layer of impact mitigation with high damage resistance and energy absorption properties, ensuring the helmet performs reliably in different collision scenarios. A clavicle shell relief zone filled with EPS and EPP helps reduce clavicle injuries by providing a soft zone that absorbs impact forces in that area.
For comfort and convenience, the helmet includes a washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads, ensuring a secure and breathable fit. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) channels air efficiently through multiple intake vents during motion, drawing fresh air through aligned channels in the EPS and exhausting it through rear vents to keep the rider cool. The integrated custom-molded rubber trim with an nose guard offers additional protection and durability. Weighing approximately 2.9 pounds in size medium/large, this helmet balances safety with comfort. An included soft fleece helmet bag makes storage and transport easy, while an optional cold weather breath guard enhances usability in colder conditions.
