The Fly Racing Formula CC Glide Helmet offers superior protection and comfort for off-road motorcycle riders. Constructed with a tri-weave composite shell comprised of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, this helmet provides a lightweight yet highly durable barrier against impacts. Weighing approximately 2.9 pounds, it is designed to absorb low speed and high-speed impacts efficiently. The helmet features Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON material, which maximize impact absorption to reduce forces transmitted to the rider's brain, enhancing safety during falls or collisions. Its Conehead® dual-density EPS technology delivers a softer liner that manages impact forces more effectively, while six critical zones are finely tuned for progressive response across a range of impact speeds. Strategically expanded volume EPS enhances impact absorption, providing more suspension between the rider’s head and the ground for increased protection.
The helmet incorporates an expanded polypropylene (EPP) chin bar, which adds an extra layer of impact mitigation and damage resistance. A clavicle shell relief zone filled with EPS and EPP helps reduce clavicle injuries by absorbing secondary impacts. Its custom-molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard for added facial protection. Comfort is prioritized with a washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial liner and quick-release cheek pads, ensuring a snug and hygienic fit. The True Functional Ventilation (TFV) system actively forces air through multiple intake vents, passing through aligned channels within the EPS and exiting via rear exhaust vents to keep the rider cool during intense activity.
Included with the helmet is a soft fleece helmet bag for storage and transport, along with an optional cold weather breath guard for additional comfort in colder conditions.
