The ARAI Helmets Signet-X Helmet in Oriental 2 design offers a tailored fit for riders with narrow heads and pronounced foreheads, featuring a long oval shape achieved by optimizing the EPS liner for enhanced comfort and safety. Designed with the rider's comfort and safety in mind, this helmet incorporates advanced features that improve airflow, impact resistance, and ease of use. The Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism allows for smooth, intuitive operation with a larger latch that also helps prevent accidental openings, while the shield's lower pivot point reduces the impact of external forces in critical temple areas. This integrated system ensures the shield remains securely closed during rides and provides a clear, de-misted view at all times. The shell utilizes Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), combining multiple materials and techniques to deliver a balance of performance and affordability. This construction enhances impact absorption and shell durability, making it suitable for a wide range of riding conditions. Ventilation is optimized with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, ensuring excellent airflow even when the front shutter is closed, with side vents acting as exhaust outlets to help regulate temperature and moisture inside the helmet. The FCS® cheek pads are contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring,” providing a snug fit that blocks wind noise and enhances comfort. The helmet also features a water-repellent, removable ES chin cover that improves the helmet’s shape and increases exhaust at the mouth area, contributing to better airflow and comfort. Odor-resistant liner material helps prevent bacteria buildup, keeping the helmet fresher over time. The VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield is designed to accept the new VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, which is included along with the Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ insert, providing excellent fog resistance and a wide field of view.
