The ARAI HELMETS Quantum-X Helmet in steel red is engineered for riders seeking optimal comfort and advanced safety features. Its unique round oval shape is achieved through a carefully designed interior head liner that combines thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, providing a snug fit for riders with slightly wider heads. This design enhances overall comfort and stability during rides, making it suitable for a variety of head shapes. The Quantum-X’s shell utilizes peripherally belted - super complex laminate construction (PB-SCLC), integrating multiple materials to deliver a durable yet lightweight structure that balances performance and affordability. This construction not only enhances impact resistance but also maintains a sleek profile, ensuring high performance on the road. The helmet features the VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield system, which accepts the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, and includes the Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ insert for fog resistance, ensuring clear visibility under various conditions. The Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, resulting in a smoother shell surface around the temple area that better reduces impact energy transfer, providing added safety. An improved shield latch securely holds the shield in place, preventing accidental openings while allowing seamless operation with a de-mist function for enhanced rider convenience. Ventilation is optimized with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, offering excellent airflow management; the side vent functions as an exhaust even when the top duct's shutter is closed, ensuring consistent temperature regulation. The FCS® cheek pads feature contoured multi-layer foam supported by a foam “spring,” which cradles the face, reduces wind noise, and simplifies helmet on-off procedures. The water-repellent ES chin cover, pre-installed on the helmet, enhances the overall egg-shaped profile by smoothing airflow, increasing exhaust from the mouth area, and reducing wind noise.
