The ARAI HELMETS Quantum-X helmet features a distinctive round oval shape designed for riders with slightly wider heads, providing a comfortable fit without compromising safety. The interior headliner combines thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, ensuring a snug fit that enhances comfort during long rides. The Quantum-X is equipped with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings while allowing intuitive, seamless operation, along with a de-mist function for clear visibility in various conditions. Ventilation is optimized with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, ensuring excellent airflow for rider comfort. The side vent continues to function as an exhaust even when the front shutter is closed, maintaining effective cooling. The helmet also includes FCS® cheek pads, contoured with multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” which cradle the face comfortably, block wind noise, and allow easy on-off handling. A water-repellent ES chin cover is installed to enhance the helmet's shape, improve airflow, increase exhaust from the mouth area, and minimize wind noise from below. The VAS-MV shield accommodates the Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ lens, ensuring fog-free visibility, making it suitable for various riding conditions.
