The ARAI Helmets Quantum-X is a premium motorcycle helmet designed with a distinctive round oval shape, catering to riders with slightly wider heads. Its interior headliner features a combination of thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, providing a comfortable fit without compromising safety. The shell utilizes a peripherally belted super complex laminate construction (PB-SCLC), integrating multiple materials for durability and lightweight performance, offering excellent protection in a compact form.
The Quantum-X features the innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm. This design results in a smoother surface in the temple area, effectively reducing impact energy transfer in case of a collision. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings while allowing easy operation and de-misting functionality. The helmet includes the VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® MaxVision™ lens, providing a wide field of view and fog resistance for confident riding in various weather conditions.
Airflow management is optimized with QVF three-position intake vents and QVR exhaust ducts, ensuring excellent ventilation during rides. The side vent remains functional as an exhaust even when the front shutter is closed, maintaining consistent airflow. The FCS® cheek pads are contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring,” cradling the face comfortably while reducing wind noise and making helmet on-off easier. The helmet comes with a water-repellent ES chin cover, which enhances the sleek egg shape of the helmet, smoothing airflow, increasing exhaust from the mouth area, and reducing wind noise from below.
