The Alpinestars Tech-Air® 3 is a lightweight, autonomous airbag system designed to provide comprehensive upper body protection for motorcyclists. This wearable tech can be worn over or under your motorcycle jacket, making it suitable for touring, urban commuting, and light off-road adventures. Equipped with advanced AI technology and six integrated sensors—including three accelerometers and three gyroscopes—it continuously monitors your riding dynamics to detect potential crashes accurately. The system's crash detection algorithm has been developed using over 2 million kilometers of riding data and more than 2000 crash scenarios, ensuring reliable deployment during impact or dangerous situations such as lowside or highside crashes. When a crash is detected, the system activates within milliseconds, inflating airbags that protect the rider’s full chest and back, providing vital upper body coverage in the event of an accident.
