The Alpinestars Tech-Air® 3 is an advanced, lightweight airbag system designed to enhance rider safety during street, touring, urban commuting, and light off-road adventures. This wearable tech integrates seamlessly over or under your motorcycle jacket, providing comprehensive upper body protection with full chest and back coverage. Its versatile design ensures compatibility with a wide range of jackets, both leather and textile, as long as there is enough space for the inflated airbag.
The system features sophisticated A.I. technology, utilizing the Tech-Air® 5 Street crash detection algorithm that accurately monitors rider movements and automatically deploys the airbag in the event of a crash or dangerous situation. It incorporates six integrated sensors, including three accelerometers and three gyroscopes, which work together to deliver precise crash detection even when the rider is stationary or in dynamic street scenarios. Once a crash is detected, the airbag inflates within milliseconds, providing maximum protection for the rider's full chest and back. An optional back protector pocket allows riders to add passive back protection for enhanced safety.
An LED display on the chest visually indicates the system’s operational status and includes a haptic alert that vibrates to confirm when the system is armed or when the battery is low. Bluetooth connectivity allows users to monitor system health, battery life, and access ride data through the dedicated Tech-Air® App, including detailed maps of your rides via MyRide. Designed for ease of use, the system is suitable for various riding environments, from city streets to light off-road trails, offering peace of mind for riders seeking reliable protection on every ride.
