The Alpinestars Supertech M10 helmet combines advanced aerodynamics with superior impact protection, making it an ideal choice for high-performance racing. Its streamlined design features a smooth, curved surface that minimizes air resistance and reduces friction during impact, facilitating energy deflection and distribution to safeguard the rider’s head and neck. The helmet's carefully engineered shape ensures optimal aerodynamic efficiency while maintaining structural integrity, even under high stress conditions.
The A-Head Fitment System allows for easy adjustment of the helmet’s angle and height, providing a precise and comfortable fit tailored to individual preferences. Equipped with 28 ventilation ports, including 18 intake and 10 exhaust outlets, the helmet ensures excellent airflow for maximum cooling and comfort during intense riding sessions. The multi-composite shell construction employs a high-density 3K carbon outer layer for strength and efficient energy dissipation, a uni-directional carbon layer for radial strength and controlled deflection, and an aramid fiber layer for penetration resistance. These layers are bonded with a high-quality epoxy resin to optimize durability and impact absorption. The shell's limited deflection characteristics enable better distribution of impact forces to the helmet’s EPS liner, which features a multi-density configuration for superior energy management.
The chin bar's sculpted profile is designed to clear the collarbone area comfortably, with a softer EPS liner extending beyond the shell and covered by a flexible rubber compound to reduce the risk of collarbone injuries. The helmet is equipped with the MIPS® Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which provides enhanced protection against rotational forces. Removable side pads made from semi-soft polymer distribute impact energy over a larger contact area, adding further safety. Additional features include an Emergency Release System (ERS) for quick helmet removal, a visor extension and emergency visor release to protect from roost and sun, and an eject helmet removal system for added convenience and safety. Lightweight at approximately 24 pounds, the Supertech M10 offers a high-performance blend of protection, comfort, and aerodynamic efficiency for serious riders.
