The shell construction utilizes a multi-composite molding technology, incorporating 3K carbon for high-density outer strength, uni-directional carbon for enhanced radial strength and controlled impact deflection, and Aramid fiber for critical penetration resistance. The helmet features the MIPS® Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which provides added protection against rotational impacts. Removable side pads made from semi-soft polymer increase contact area to distribute impact energy more evenly. Additional safety features include an Emergency Release System (ERS), an emergency visor release, visor extension to shield from roost and sunlight, and an eject helmet removal system, all designed to enhance rider safety and convenience.
