The ALPINESTARS Supertech M10 Helmet offers a sleek, aerodynamic design that minimizes drag and enhances rider performance. Its streamlined profile features a smooth surface free of external channels, reducing potential impact points and maintaining high structural integrity. The helmet's curved surface promotes deflection on impact, effectively dispersing energy to protect the rider's head from direct force and safeguarding the neck and spinal column. Designed for superior ventilation, the Supertech M10 incorporates 28 individual ports—comprising 18 intake and 10 exhaust vents—excluding the eye port, which promote excellent airflow to keep riders cool and focused. Its shell construction utilizes advanced molding technology with a multi-composite design: a high-density 3K carbon outer layer enhances strength and energy dissipation, a uni-directional carbon composite layer provides radial strength and controlled deflection, and an aramid fiber layer offers critical penetration resistance. Epoxy resin bonding further strengthens the shell, resulting in an impact-resistant structure that manages energy effectively.
The helmet features a specially sculpted chin bar profile with a relief section to clear the collarbone and a softer EPS liner extending beyond the shell, covered by a flexible rubber compound that reduces the risk of collarbone injury. The shell's limited outer deflection ensures energy is spread across the four-density EPS liner, maximizing impact absorption. The inclusion of the MIPS® Multi-directional Impact Protection System adds an extra layer of safety by reducing rotational forces during oblique impacts. Removable side pads made from semi-soft polymer distribute impact energy over a larger contact area, enhancing overall protection.
Additional features include an Emergency Release System (ERS) for quick helmet removal, a visor extension to shield from roost and sunlight, and an emergency visor release for added convenience.
