The S&S CYCLE Super Stock® Big Bore Engine Case is designed for high-performance Harley-Davidson Big Twin applications, offering a 3.625-inch bore size suitable for strokes up to 5 inches and most stock-length connecting rods. Crafted in the USA, this engine case features precision-machined components to ensure optimal performance and durability. It is machined to accept an oil filter assembly that mounts on the front of the stock motor case, simplifying maintenance and improving oil flow management. All races are line-honed, and the breather cavity is meticulously machined to enhance breather timing, maximizing oil scavenging and reducing internal pressure buildup. The kit includes essential hardware such as crankcase bolts, washers, nuts, cylinder mounting studs, and a timing hole plug, providing a comprehensive upgrade for your engine rebuild or performance enhancement.
Additional features include a magnetic drain plug, assorted breather and oil line fittings, an oil pressure switch, oil screen, spring, and plug, all facilitating reliable oil circulation and engine health monitoring. The sprocket shaft features a Timken® bearing assembly and oil seal, ensuring smooth rotation and longevity. The pinion shaft main bearing race, cam needle bearing assembly, oil pump drive shaft bushing, and detailed installation instructions are included to streamline assembly and maintenance. The case is machined specifically for EFI fitment, making it compatible with modern electronic fuel injection systems.
