The S&S Cycle Camshaft Kit - Easy Start, part number 330-0466, is designed to provide a smoother startup experience and increased performance for Twin Cam engines from 1999 to 2006, excluding the '06 Dyna models. This kit features a unique compression release mechanism that reduces initial crank compression, making engine startups easier, especially in colder conditions or with lower cranking power. As the engine reaches higher RPMs, the centrifugal mechanism retracts the compression release lobe, restoring full compression for optimal power and efficiency without sacrificing performance.
Designed as a bolt-in solution, this camshaft kit is compatible with stock 9.7:1 compression ratio engines and supports up to 10.5:1 compression ratios. It delivers improved power across the entire RPM range, with the most notable gains between 2,500 rpm and 5,500 rpm.
