ProTaper SE ATV Mid Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE ATV Mid Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, which the company rates at 70,000 psi. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish adds durability, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. The bar ships with a crossbar pad, includes plastic end plugs, and weighs 1.8 lbs. (820g) without the pad.

With 93mm of rise, this bar lifts the grip area well above the clamp, a height that works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer an upright position. The 76mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider, keeping the wrists at a relatively relaxed angle rather than a straight, neutral reach. At 813mm wide, the bar provides broad leverage, and the 206mm control area on each side gives good room for mounting levers and switches, though the bar can be trimmed narrower if needed.
