ProTaper SE CR Mid Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE CR Mid Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy rated at 70,000 psi, with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. Each bar goes through shot peening and stress relief before anodizing, and the chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. The clutch side is knurled for grip adhesion, plastic end plugs seal out moisture and reinforce the grip ends, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included. At 1.8 lbs. without the pad, it suits riders who want solid, predictable feedback from a 7/8 in. bar.

This bar measures 800mm wide, giving you good leverage at the grips, and the width can be trimmed down if your setup calls for it. The 56mm rise brings the grip area up a moderate amount above the clamp, which works well for riders who spend time standing on the pegs or who prefer a slightly taller bar position. A 57mm sweep angles the grips back toward you enough to take some stress off the wrists, while the 195mm control area gives you plenty of straight section to position levers and switches without crowding.
