The ProTaper SE Windham / RM Mid Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, shot peened, stress-relieved, and anodized for lasting durability. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included. At 1.8 lbs., it is a solid choice for riders who want predictable, planted feedback through the bars.
This bar has 69mm of rise and 99mm of height, which brings the grip area up enough to suit riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 54mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle. At 800mm wide with 189mm of usable control area per side, there is plenty of room for levers and switches, and the bar can be trimmed down if a narrower width is needed.
