ProTaper Contour Pastrana FMX Handlebar - Jet Black

The ProTaper Contour Pastrana FMX Handlebar - Jet Black is a 1-1/8 in. clamp bar from ProTaper's Contour line, shaped to the Pastrana FMX bend profile and aimed at riders who want a capable bar and pad combination at an accessible price point. It is made from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, then shot peened, stress relieved, and anodized to improve durability and surface hardness. The clutch side is knurled for a more secure grip hold, graphics are chemically applied to resist scratching and peeling, and plastic bar end plugs are included along with a crossbar pad.

This bar has a 70mm rise, which lifts the grip area well above the clamp and suits riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 55mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist angle, and the 800mm width provides substantial leverage across the bars. The control area measures 190mm per side, giving plenty of straight section for mounting levers and switches, and the bar can be trimmed down using the 1/4 in. cut guides if a narrower width is needed.
