ProTaper Contour Pastrana FMX Handlebar - Silver

The ProTaper Contour Pastrana FMX Handlebar - Silver is a 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar from ProTaper's Contour line, shaped to the Pastrana FMX bend profile and built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy that ProTaper says balances fatigue life, impact strength, and flex. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 1.55 lbs. without it. It is aimed at riders who want a bar-and-pad combo at an accessible price point.

With 70mm of rise, this bar lifts the grip area a meaningful amount above the clamp, which suits riders who prefer a more upright stance or spend a lot of time standing on the pegs. The 55mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist position rather than a straight, neutral hold. At 800mm wide the bar offers solid leverage, and the 190mm control area gives you enough straight section to position levers and switches without crowding, though the bar can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is needed.
