ProTaper Contour Pastrana FMX Handlebar - Gold

The ProTaper Contour Pastrana FMX Handlebar - Gold is a 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar from ProTaper's Contour line, shaped to the Pastrana FMX bend profile and finished in gold anodize. It is made from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, shot peened and stress relieved for durability, and comes with a crossbar pad included. The knurled clutch side helps grips stay locked in place, and the graphics are chemically applied so they resist scratching and peeling. At 1.55 lbs. without the pad, it is a solid bar-and-pad combination at an accessible price point.

This bar has a 70mm rise, which lifts the grip area well above the clamp and suits a more upright, standing riding position common in motocross and freestyle riding. The 55mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle. At 800mm wide with 190mm of straight control area per side, it gives good leverage across the bars and leaves plenty of room for levers and switches, and the width can be trimmed down using the 1/4 in. cut guides if a narrower setup is needed.
