The Progressive Suspension 465 Series Shocks with Remote Adjustable Preload (RAP) offer high-performance damping and customization for your motorcycle. The remote preload adjuster enables riders to fine-tune suspension settings easily, accommodating different loads such as passengers or luggage to maintain optimal ride comfort and control. The five-position rebound adjustment allows for precise tuning of suspension rebound characteristics, ensuring stability and comfort across a variety of riding conditions. Constructed with a hard-anodized aluminum body and components, these shocks are built for excellent durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity in demanding environments. The 46mm bore combined with a deflective disc piston provides precise damping control, enhancing rider confidence and comfort. The 16mm hard-chrome shaft rides on custom Viton seals, which reduce friction and prevent leaks, maintaining reliable performance over time. Each shock is specifically tuned for damping and spring rate to match the intended application, ensuring optimal performance for each fitment. Before installation, confirm that your wheel travel and clearances are appropriate to prevent issues such as swingarm or axle contact with exhaust, chain or belt guards, or tires. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for motorcycles operating at or near the manufacturer’s maximum load capacity more than half of the time, ensuring they can handle demanding riding conditions with ease.
