The Fly Racing Formula CC Tektonic Helmet in Matte Black, Slate, and Blue offers advanced protection combined with lightweight comfort for riders demanding high performance. Constructed with a tri-weave composite shell featuring carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, this helmet delivers exceptional impact resistance while maintaining a lightweight profile for extended wear. Its design incorporates an Adaptive Impact System that intelligently manages energy absorption, reducing forces transmitted to the rider’s head during impacts. Equipped with Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON material, the helmet maximizes absorption of both linear and rotational impacts at low and high speeds, providing critical protection during a crash. The Conehead® Dual-density EPS technology offers a softer liner with cones that effectively absorb impact forces across six fine-tuned zones, ensuring a progressive response to various impact intensities. Its expanded volume EPS areas increase impact absorption and suspension, creating a buffer zone between the rider’s head and the ground. The helmet's EPP chin bar adds an extra layer of impact mitigation, thanks to its durability and energy absorption properties. Additionally, a clavicle shell relief zone with EPS and EPP helps reduce clavicle injuries in the event of a fall.
Designed for comfort and convenience, the helmet features a washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial liner and quick-release cheek pads. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) channels air efficiently through multiple intake vents, passing through EPS channels and exiting via rear exhaust vents to keep the rider cool and comfortable. The lightweight design, weighing approximately 2.9 pounds, ensures minimal fatigue during extended rides. The helmet includes a custom molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, stainless-steel D-rings, and a durable visor with quick screws for easy adjustments. An included soft fleece helmet bag provides convenient storage and transport.
Optional accessories such as the cold weather breath box and liners are available to adapt the helmet for various weather conditions, enhancing versatility for different riding environments.
