The Fly Racing Formula CC Glide Helmet in Grey, Light Grey, and Black offers advanced protection and comfort for riders seeking high-performance gear. Crafted with a tri-weave composite shell composed of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, this helmet provides a lightweight yet highly resistant barrier against penetration. It is ECE and DOT approved, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON technology maximize absorption of both low-speed linear and rotational impacts, significantly reducing forces transmitted to the rider's brain, enhancing safety during falls or collisions. The conehead® dual-density EPS liner offers a softer impact absorption surface that manages forces efficiently, while six critical zones are tuned for progressive response to impacts at varying speeds. Expanded volume EPS in strategic areas adds additional impact absorption, creating more suspension between the rider's head and the ground for improved protection. The helmet features an expanded polypropylene (EPP) chin bar, which contributes to impact mitigation and damage resistance, and a clavicle shell relief zone filled with EPS and EPP to help reduce clavicle injuries. The integrated rubber trim includes a nose guard for added facial protection. Weighing approximately 2.9 pounds, the helmet balances durability and comfort with a washable moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads. The True Functional Ventilation system actively draws air through multiple intake vents, channels it through EPS-lined passages, and exhausts out multiple rear vents, maintaining a cool and comfortable environment during rides. An included soft fleece helmet bag offers convenient storage, and an optional cold weather breath guard is available for colder conditions.
