When considering alternative shock lengths, ensure your wheel travel can be adjusted without causing clearance issues such as swingarm or axle contact with exhaust components, chain or belt guards, or tires. Please note that OEM upper shock mount covers will not fit these shocks, so plan accordingly for any aesthetic or protective components.
