Featuring nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies with hard chrome-plated shafts, these shocks deliver consistent performance and durability. The dual-rate progressive wound springs provide a smooth, comfortable ride by adapting to varying road conditions and rider inputs. The adjustable spring preload allows you to fine-tune the suspension to suit your riding style and weight, while the ride-height can be modified by approximately plus or minus 1/2 inch from the listed size, enabling customization for ground clearance or stance preferences.
Built with a sleek black finish, these shocks include black springs and damper bodies with matching black end caps and eyelets for a cohesive look. They are designed to mount with existing hardware, simplifying installation. It is important to note that shocks shorter than the OEM length may reduce travel, potentially impacting ride quality and handling. Lowering the motorcycle can also decrease ground and cornering clearance, which should be considered when selecting suspension components.
Before installation, ensure that your wheel travel can accommodate the change in shock length without causing clearance issues such as swingarm or axle contact with exhaust components, chain or belt guards, or tires. These shocks are not compatible with OE upper shock mount covers and should not be used with rear lowering kits. Custom mounting may be required on models with OEM-style offset mount shocks to ensure proper fitment and performance.
