Proper clearance should be confirmed before installation, especially when lowering the motorcycle, as ground and cornering clearance may be affected and there is a risk of contact between swingarm, exhaust, chain or belt guard, or tires.
These shocks are not compatible with OE upper shock mount covers or rear lowering kits. Custom mounting may be necessary on some models with OEM-style offset mount shocks.
