The Arai Helmets Quantum-X Helmet in white offers a round oval shape designed for riders with slightly wider heads, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. The helmet features an interior headliner that combines thicker front and rear pads with thinner side pads, providing optimal comfort and stability during rides. Its advanced construction utilizes the Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, which integrates multiple materials and techniques to deliver a balance of performance, durability, and affordability.
The Quantum-X is equipped with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, creating a smoother shell surface in the temple area to better absorb impact energy. The improved shield latch securely holds the shield closed, reducing the likelihood of accidental opening and facilitating easy operation with a larger, de-mist capable latch. Ventilation is enhanced by the QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, offering excellent airflow management; even with the front shutter closed, the side exhaust vent maintains effective airflow, keeping the rider cool and comfortable.
For added comfort and noise reduction, the helmet incorporates FCS® Cheek Pads, which are contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring” to cradle the face and block wind noise. The water-repellent ES chin cover enhances the helmet’s shape, smooths airflow, increases exhaust from the mouth area, and diminishes wind noise from below. The helmet comes with a VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield designed to accept the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, with a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ included, providing excellent anti-fog performance and wide field of view.
