The helmet features a 3D Arai logo duct that efficiently draws air through three ports, providing excellent airflow at low and high speeds. The duct can be easily opened or closed with a short-stroke lever accessible even with summer or winter gloves, allowing riders to adjust ventilation quickly. The rear spoiler, inspired by the Corsair-X's DF-X2, is aerodynamically designed to smooth airflow and reduce buffeting, especially during overtaking on highways, which helps decrease rider fatigue.
For enhanced impact safety, the rear spoiler is engineered to break away upon significant impact, preventing it from affecting the helmet's protective integrity. The helmet's chin vent features a sliding mechanism that is thicker and glove-friendly, with three positions—open, midway, and closed—allowing for large-volume airflow and a replaceable filter to maintain air quality. An integrated communication system can be easily mounted on the shell exterior without compromising the helmet's protective features, thanks to the thoughtfully designed cutouts and flat sides for simple intercom installation.
The visor mounting position benefits from the Variable Axis System (VAS), lowered to improve peripheral vision and energy dispersion. The helmet's flared opening, increased by 5 mm, facilitates easier donning and removal, especially for new users, despite initial snugness. The helmet's interior includes a stitched opening within the neck roll, allowing for discreet wiring management of communication devices, contributing to a clean, streamlined appearance.
