This helmet features an anatomically engineered profile that adapts to youth and younger riders, providing a tailored fit that enhances safety during high-impact activities. The lightweight thermo-injected shell utilizes a specialized polymer blend with varying thicknesses to optimize impact resistance while maintaining a comfortable weight, making it suitable for extended wear. The shell construction incorporates impact-resistant thermoplastic in three sizes—Youth Small, Youth Medium, and Youth Large—and is available in versions certified for both DOT and ECE standards, ensuring compliance with global safety regulations. The DOT version includes a composite fiber inner shell layered between the outer shell and EPS liner for added impact protection. The helmet’s fit can be customized using genuine spare crown and cheek pads available in different thicknesses, allowing for growth adjustments, especially for riders transitioning from Youth Medium to Youth Large. The Youth Small size is designed for children approximately 3 to 4 years old, with a smaller EPS interior that can be customized via cheek pads for optimal fit and safety. Multiple density foam layers in the liner enhance impact absorption by targeting specific areas of the head, contributing to better overall protection. The helmet’s inner and outer surfaces are engineered to mitigate oblique impact forces, with a patented low-friction coating on the EPS liner that acts as a slip plane to reduce rotational acceleration forces, mimicking the brain’s natural cerebrospinal fluid. An innovative visor release system ensures the visor detaches with a predetermined force during impacts, helping to reduce neck injury risk.
