The VM-Rings package comprises a 1.2 mm gas nitrided top ring with positive twist, a 1.2 mm cast iron taper under-hook scraper ring, and a 2.0 mm three-piece flex vent oil ring with steel chrome-faced rails. For applications requiring a 3.0 mm oil ring, the VMF-Ring package is available, replacing the standard 2.0 mm oil ring. These features work together to improve oil control, reduce blow-by, and promote engine longevity.
