Constructed with state-of-the-art materials, the cast piston is made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, resulting in an ultra-light yet robust component that boosts overall engine efficiency. The piston features high-tech Molybdenum Disulfide coating on all skirts, which promotes faster break-in times and extends piston life. For increased strength and performance, the piston incorporates new T-box forgings and DLC-coated wrist pins, enabling higher compression ratios and improved power output.
For superior strength and durability, the forged pistons in this kit are crafted from 2618 aluminum and are heat-treated with a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle.
