The Vertex Piston Kit Cast Race 46.94mm is designed for high-performance applications on Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles. This kit features a lightweight yet durable cast aluminum piston with an 18% silicone content, providing excellent strength and reduced weight for optimized engine performance. The piston skirts are coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite layer, ensuring faster break-in times and extending piston life. These pistons are heat-treated with a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, enhancing durability under demanding riding conditions.
All pistons are OEM replacements, ensuring perfect fitment and reliable performance. The kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips, offering a comprehensive solution for engine rebuilds or upgrades. The rings are designed specifically for four-stroke engines and are sold as a set, providing consistent compression and sealing. For two-stroke applications, replacement rings are available separately, with the number of rings matching the piston design.
Constructed from gravity cast aluminum alloy, the cast replica pistons are extremely light but strong, making them suitable for racing and high-performance riding.
