The headset supports a multi-channel Open Mesh intercom™ with nine channels in open mode, enabling riders to switch frequencies easily and communicate with different groups. The system's range extends up to half a mile (800 meters) in open water, with the capability to reach up to 1 mile (1.6 km) among six users, ensuring effective communication across large distances. Equipped with HD speakers and Advanced Noise Control™, the Nautitalk Bosun delivers clear audio quality even in noisy environments.
