The S&S CYCLE Cam Chest Kit (Part 310-1385) is engineered for high-performance applications with a precision-machined oil pump and cam plate made from billet aluminum, ensuring durability and efficient oil flow. This kit features removable passage plugs for easy servicing and independent scavenge sections dedicated to the flywheel cavity and cam chest, optimizing oil circulation and reducing maintenance downtime. Debris screens integrated into both scavenge pickups help prevent contaminants from entering the oil system, while a magnet in the cam chest further minimizes debris ingress to protect critical engine components. The design includes increased oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenge sides to improve lubrication under demanding conditions, and an updated oil pump with a groove for an optional OEM oil seal enhances sealing reliability.
