Equipped with a comprehensive oiling system, this kit includes a S&S oil pump and cam plate finished in durable blue anodized, with removable passage plugs for easy servicing. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens in both pickups, help maintain clean oil flow and protect vital engine parts. An integrated magnet in the cam chest further prevents debris from entering the oil pump, extending engine longevity. The increased oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenge sides ensures optimal lubrication during high-performance riding.
Designed for high-lift, high-rpm applications, the kit features S&S 550 cams engineered specifically for big bore setups, compatible with valve springs up to .605 inch lift. The high-performance conical single-wire springs and S&S premium tappets support aggressive cam profiles, while S&S hard-anodized, black-coated billet aluminum tappet cuffs enhance tappet stability. Quickee chrome pushrods and matching tubes provide reliable valvetrain operation. An adjustable pressure relief valve allows fine-tuning of oil pressure with the engine installed, ensuring optimal performance.
