Crafted from premium Ultralight™ 7075 T-6 aluminum, the inner ring offers exceptional strength while maintaining a lightweight profile, making it ideal for demanding riding conditions. The outer ring is constructed from electro-less nickel coated steel, providing increased resistance to wear and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance. The manufacturing process involves expanding the outer ring at 200°C and fitting it over the inner ring with an interference fit, combined with a wave pattern, to create a permanent bond that endures the stresses of aggressive riding. Flat socket head screws are used to reinforce the sprocket during side impacts and prevent contact with the chain guide, enhancing overall robustness. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth help prevent dirt accumulation, reducing wear and maintaining smooth operation under muddy conditions. This sprocket is engineered to last three times longer than standard all-aluminum options, yet remains significantly lighter than conventional all-steel sprockets, delivering a perfect balance of strength and weight savings for motocross and off-road riders.
