The ProTaper SE XR50/CRF50 Handlebar - Silver is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built for riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their controls. ProTaper forms the bar from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy and cold-forges the crossbar for added strength, then shot peens, stress-relieves, and anodizes the finish for durability. The clutch side is knurled for grip adhesion, graphics are chemically applied to resist scratching and peeling, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad and plastic end plugs included. The XR50/CRF50 name refers to the bend profile, not a fitment restriction.

This bar has a 152mm rise, which brings the grip area well above the clamp and suits riders who prefer a more upright posture or spend time standing on the pegs. The 44mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a moderate degree, keeping the wrists in a relatively relaxed position without feeling dramatically pulled back. At 724mm wide with 161mm of control area per side, the bar offers good leverage and enough straight section for levers and switches, and the width can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is needed.
