ProTaper SE Raptor Handlebar - Silver

The ProTaper SE Raptor Handlebar - Silver is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum crossbar clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. The bar goes through shot peening and stress relief before receiving an anodized finish, and the graphics are chemically applied so they resist scratching and peeling. Knurling on the clutch side improves grip adhesion, plastic end plugs seal out debris, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included. At 1.8 lbs. without the pad, it is a solid choice for riders who want direct, predictable feedback from a 7/8 in. bar.

The Raptor bend has 115mm of rise, which lifts the grip area well above the clamp and works best for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright posture. The 87mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a comfortable wrist angle rather than a straight, forward-reaching feel. At 770mm wide with 206mm of control area per side, there is plenty of room for levers and switches, and the bar can be trimmed narrower if needed.
