ProTaper SE XR50/CRF50 Handlebar - Jet Black

The ProTaper SE XR50/CRF50 Handlebar - Jet Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar from ProTaper's SE line, built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy and finished with a shot peened, stress-relieved, and anodized surface for lasting durability. The XR50/CRF50 name refers to the bend profile, which was shaped after the geometry those bikes came with from the factory. Riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their bars and prefer a 7/8 in. clamp diameter will find the SE line a straightforward choice.

This bar comes in at 152mm of rise and 44mm of sweep. That amount of rise brings the grip area up noticeably, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who want the bars closer to an upright position, while the 44mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle. The bar measures 724mm wide and offers 161mm of control area for mounting levers and switches, and like any handlebar it can be trimmed down but not extended.
